It was the first 48 Hour Film Project for the City Band Productions Team. Spirits were excitement filled the air. It would be the first time watching the results of 48+ hours of hard work for everyone involved.
Almost all cast and crew members made it out to the premiere and brought friends and family in tow. The producers of the San Diego 48 Hour Film Project rolled out the red carpet for all filmmakers. The cameras were out and in full roar as everyone from professional to amateur photographers snapped away to capture the memories. As the City Band Team trickled in they headed to the theater to begin seating in anticipation for the show to begin.
After a short introduction from the producers of the 48 HFP, the lights came down and the crowds erupted with with excitement. The CBP Team’s “The Friendly Skies” would go on to play well with many laughs and a great round of applause from everyone in the theater.
Nothing like seeing your hard work up on the big screen!
The night was a success as City Band Productions kicked off a hopeful future in this annual competition. On to the next project and to more fun. Thanks to all team members and their friends and family.
